Currently Wonkette and Kos are lumped in the same category. But blogging is still nascent enough that we have a chance to define a terminological separation between the two. Now that the mainstream have decided Wonkette et. al. are "bloggers", it's too late to reverse. Maybe we have a chance to market Kos as a "truth blogger", "truth-er" or "truther" working in the "truthosphere".
Sounds cheesy, I know. But good marketing always sounds cheesy, until people get used to it. Like the GOP: say it enough, and the frame becomes standard. E.g. partial birth abortion, tax relief, etc.
Any other ideas on alternative terminology we can bootstrap, better of "truthosphere"?
Dailykos as part of the "Truthosphere" sounds pretty good, even if "truther" does not (yet...!).
Look, better that we define and market our own label, than O'Reilly or Limbaugh do, right?
They might end up labeling us the "nerdosphere" or something horrible like that.
